Aside from her freelance work, Wendy works with Charing Cross Photo Lab in Waverley [Sydney] as Social Media and Marketing manager and also runs their photo competitions amongst other things. In 1979, Wendy sold her first photo to one of the biggest bands in Australia, The Angels, and ever since has caught and framed unforgettable pictures of local music legends like INXS, Crowded House, Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, Richard Clapton, Noiseworks, Diesel, Melinda Schneider, GANGgajang, Ross Wilson, Mental as Anything, and Wendy Matthews, alongside visiting international stars like Tom Jones, Bono and Mick Jagger.
